In-Person ELA & Math Tutor

Overview

Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn. We are looking for teachers and tutors with experience working in K-2 to provide 1:1 or group instruction to students in South Dakota Ave area of Washington, DC
.

• Multiple sessions per week
• $20-40 per hour
• Teaching credential required

• We are a tutoring and test‑preparation platform that connects tutors with clients and school districts
• Tutors set their own hourly rate and decide which tutoring jobs to accept based on their availability
• At Tutor Me Education, new job opportunities arise daily as hundreds of new students sign up

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Teaching certification required
• Experience working with K-6 or highly preferred for K-2
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge in core academic areas:
  English, math, science, and social studies
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse learners, including those with learning differences and English language learners
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities simultaneously
