requirements- car for daily commute (easton is 26 miles south of boston)
- adept with computers/ tablets
- good interpersonal skills
- ability to learn on the fly
- willingness/ desire to learn clinical medicine on a steep learning curve
- multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- assisting in biopsies, surgical and cosmetic procedures
- coordinating patient care
- working closely together as part of a team
- in your daily care for patients, you will improve interpersonal and communication skills, expand your medical knowledge, observe professionalism in medicine and the doctor-patient relationship. This will prepare you for basic skills you will continue to develop as a medical student.
- you will complete an online training curriculum and become a certified dermatology tech (cdt)
- you will learn the medical language of dermatology, how to read journal articles and present case discussion/ presentations.
- our physician-mentors will review your application in detail and provide feedback on your amcas application, essays, mcat score and help prepare you for your interviews.
