Join a mission-driven team shaping the future of women’s health in Washington, DC. Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, part of the GW Health System, is the first new full-service hospital to open in DC in over 20 years. We’re building a brand-new OB/GYN program — and we’re looking for a generalist OBGYN physician who wants to make an immediate impact in expanding access to high-quality care for the community.

About

the Role

Build from the ground up:
Play a key role in developing a new OB/GYN program and establishing the foundation for outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Supportive, collaborative environment:
    Work alongside midwives and advanced practice providers (APPs) in both inpatient and outpatient settings to ensure comprehensive, team-based care.
  • Balanced schedule:
    Enjoy a predictable weekly structure with 2–3 days of outpatient care and 1–2 hospital days, designed to support work-life balance.
  • Leadership growth:
    As the program expands, there will be opportunities to step into leadership and shape the service line’s direction.
  • Strong institutional backing:
    Benefit from the resources and stability of a nationally recognized academic health system.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN
  • Eligible for or currently holds a D.C. medical license

Pay range and compensation package
  • Retirement: 4% employer match
  • Time off: 23 PTO days, 10 paid holidays, and 5 CME days
