Surgical Pathologist – Med Star Georgetown University Hospital

The Department of Pathology at Med Star Georgetown University Hospital is recruiting for a Staff Pathologist. Med Star Georgetown University Hospital is a 609-bed acute care academic medical center and part of Med Star Health, serving as a major tertiary care hospital for the metropolitan DC area.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide general surgical pathology services.
• Deliver specialty services.
• Participate in teaching within the pathology residency program.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Eligible in both Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, or in Anatomic Pathology alone.
• Experience in Surgical Pathology or completion of a Surgical Pathology Fellowship is required.
• Subspecialty Fellowship training in Thoracic, Head and Neck, or GYN Pathology is desirable.
• Ability to work in a thirteen-member group.
