Position: Project Architect/ Designer
  • Perform interior design assignments that include assistance in programming client needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
  • Participate in the recommendation, selection, and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
  • Perform submittal reviews in coordination with assigned project manager
  • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
  • Coordinate with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
  • Provide team leadership for junior staff members
  • Assist in ensuring design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation
  • Assist in facilitating & producing accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of project
  • Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction
  • Perform quality control and review of construction documents
  • Ensure construction documents meet all current applicable building codes and technical standards
  • Ensure Collective’s design standards are implemented throughout construction document set
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in corporate interior design or a related field
  • Proficient in Revit, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and other modeling software programs
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficient in furniture coordination, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques
