Candidate must reside in the DC area.
Qualifications:- 8
-15 years of experience in Interior Architecture and project management of large commercial projects - Opportunity to work and lead through all stages of a project from programming, design through construction administration, including project management if desired.
- Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of architectural and commercial interiors building systems
- Thorough understanding of schedules, consultant coordination, and project budget
- Knowledge of contract writing best practices and the ability to identify risk mitigation strategies
- Ability to design multiple projects of a similar scope
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines
- Positive solution-oriented management approach
- Licensed Architect preferred
- Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Exceptional project and inter-personal performance history (client, team members, consultants, vendors, industry colleagues, etc.)
- Manage project scheduling, staffing, budgeting, set up, close out, and profitability reporting/accountability
- Manage invoicing and collection for projects as required
