Overview
We are seeking an experienced strategist with deep expertise in academic health sciences to join our planning and architecture-focused team. This role supports mission-driven clients within higher education and health sciences, offering the opportunity to shape learning environments, guide data-driven planning efforts, and provide subject matter leadership across complex education and research projects.
Role and Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and facilitate measurable data collection and space metrics—from high-level planning assumptions to detailed academic health science programming.
- Provide thought leadership, develop project content, and define the narrative “story” for reports, presentations, and final deliverables.
- Lead or co-lead client presentations, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the planning and design process.
- Oversee quality control for reports, information graphics, metrics, and other project deliverables to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Serve as day-to-day point of contact for clients, building strong internal and external relationships.
- Manage project process and schedule, including coordination of internal teams and subconsultants.
- Support project finances, including updates, billing, and oversight of budget progress.
- Mentor and support emerging team members, contributing to a collaborative knowledge-driven practice.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop pursuit narratives, interview strategies, and proposal content.
- Professional degree in Architecture preferred; advanced experience in health sciences education or practice (medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, allied health, or public health) may also be considered.
- 10+ years of experience in academic health science education programming and planning.
- Expertise in health education labs, learning environments, and emerging trends in health sciences pedagogy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data and planning principles into clear, compelling narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to guide teams, present to clients, and manage multiple stakeholders across planning and design processes.
