Overview
Representing an Award-Winning Federal General Contractor. I’m partnering with a nationally recognized, award-winning Federal General Contractor that continues to secure some of the most visible and technically complex government projects in the Washington, DC market. With a strong federal backlog and long-term agency clients, they are looking to add an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven federal QC professional who wants stability, career longevity, and the chance to work with a best-in-class contractor that genuinely values quality and compliance.

- Lead and manage the project Quality Control program in compliance with USACE and federal requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP)
- Perform preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections
- Coordinate closely with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and government inspectors
- Ensure all work complies with contract documents, specifications, and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate QC documentation, reports, and daily logs
- 10+ years of experience as a Quality Control Manager on federal construction projects
- CQM (Construction Quality Management) certification – REQUIRED
- OSHA 30 strongly preferred
- Strong background working on federal/government facilities
- Ability to obtain an AOC badge (must meet federal access requirements)
- Willingness to work night shifts as required by the project
- Strong communication skills and experience working directly with government representatives
