Project Superintendent

A well-established general contractor operating throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia is seeking a Superintendent to oversee active commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong field leadership experience and is comfortable managing projects in active, fast-paced environments.

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities
• Coordinate subcontractors and site logistics
• Maintain project schedules and sequencing
• Enforce jobsite safety and quality standards
• Conduct daily site walks and progress tracking
• Communicate closely with Project Managers and ownership
• Manage inspections and site documentation

• Corporate office build-outs
• Institutional and education projects

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a GC
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and means & methods
• Experience managing subcontractors and site schedules
• Familiarity with safety standards and jobsite compliance
• Ability to lead crews and maintain organized jobsites
• Procore experience preferred
