Pipe Layer
CSC is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our utility construction crew. The Pipe Layer will install and connect underground piping systems for water, sewer, storm drainage, and gas projects. This role is essential to ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient utility installation on job sites.
ResponsibilitiesLay, connect, and align pipe according to grade and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and pipe laser setups
Assist equipment operators with trench depth and pipe placement
Ensure proper sealing of joints and bedding/backfill compaction
Follow OSHA safety standards and CSC protocols on site
Collaborate with foremen, operators, and crew members to meet production goals
Perform general labor and site cleanup as needed
Preferred 1–2 years of pipe laying or utility construction experience
Ability to read blueprints and work with grade checking equipment
Knowledge of trench safety, PPE, and construction site protocols
Physical ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
Team-oriented with strong attention to detail
