Division Estimator

Cap8 Doors & Hardware is looking for a skilled Division 8 Estimator to join our growing team. If you know the ins and outs of doors, frames, and hardware — and you thrive in a fast‑paced estimating environment — this role was built for you!

• Analyze drawings, specs, and hardware schedules to build accurate project estimates.
• Ensure every proposal meets building code, ADA, life‑safety, security, and fire‑rating requirements.
• Build competitive estimates and present innovative value‑engineering options.
• Partner with vendors, project managers, detailing, and operations for seamless transitions from bid to award.
• Communicate directly with customers, answer questions, clarify scope, and maintain strong relationships.
• Manage multiple bids, deadlines, and follow‑ups simultaneously.

• Background in Division 8 (doors, frames & hardware) required.
• 2+ years of relevant construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding door schedules.
• High‑level Excel skills & experience with Bluebeam and door/hardware software.
• Someone who is detail‑focused, self‑driven, organized, and comfortable in a deadline‑heavy environment.
• Professional communicator with a customer‑first mindset.
• Willingness to travel for quarterly Cap8 doors team meetings.
