Junior-Mid Level Consultant(s):

Position Overview:We are seeking Junior to Mid-Level Consultants with at least two (2) years of experience supporting Knowledge Management (KM) and Knowledge Transfer (KT) initiatives in the federal sector. The ideal candidate will support KM/KT engagements through project management assistance, client-facing interactions, development of deliverables, and facilitation activities. Work will often be performed under the guidance of more senior consultants but requires independent initiative and a collaborative mindset.
KeyResponsibilities:
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of Knowledge Management and Knowledge Transfer projects for federal clients.
Assist in the development of KM/KT materials, including process documentation, knowledge repositories, training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and communication plans.
Participate in and support client-facing meetings, briefings, and workshops, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Facilitate or co-facilitate KM/KT sessions, interviews, and knowledge capture activities.
Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to internal and client stakeholders.
Conduct research and contribute to the development of strategic KM/KT recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement knowledge-sharing frameworks, tools, and processes.
Support change management efforts to promote adoption of KM/KT solutions.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting KM/KT projects in a government or consulting environment.
Experience with project coordination or management support in a client-facing setting.
Proven ability to develop professional materials, such as reports, decks, SOPs, and job aids.
Strong facilitation or co-facilitation skills; able to engage stakeholders effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, or Confluence.
Experience working with federal agencies in a consulting role.
Knowledge of KM frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
Exposure to change management principles.
Familiarity with knowledge capture and retention techniques.
Certification in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) or KM (e.g., CKM) is a plus but not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Adaptability to changing client needs and priorities.
Professional demeanor and a customer-service orientation.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Knowledge Management, Information Science, or a related field.
