Position Overview
Forward Global is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to conduct U.S. and international investigative due diligence research for a wide range of financial, legal, and corporate clients. This position requires a highly detail-oriented and seasoned researcher with a strong analytical ability, around three to six years of industry experience, and an investigative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Senior Analysts are responsible for executing investigations in support of litigation (including asset traces), corporate contests (including proxy battles and hostile takeovers), political risk and market entry projects, and investigative due diligence matters.
- Senior Analysts will also be called upon to take charge of additional operational responsibilities, which may include: quality control, training, client relations, business development, or personnel management.
- Senior Analysts typically provide mentorship and guidance to Analyst-level employees.
Requirements
- Mastery of open-source and public records research, including past experience using a wide range of U.S. and international public record resources (e.g. Lexis Nexis, Factiva, PACER, regulatory filings, civil and criminal records, property records, etc.)
- Ability to execute complex, large-scale research and investigative projects
- Intellectual curiosity, elite investigative skills and the ability to produce reports that are exceptional in their accuracy, thoroughness and analysis
- Excellent English-language writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Track record of managing personnel and/or quality control processes while meeting strict deadlines
- Capacity to adapt to new situations and accept/apply feedback in a professional manner
- Intellectual curiosity
- Experience conducting investigative research in support of pre-investment/M&A transactions, corporate contests, or litigation and/or arbitration is a plus
- Past experience in financial or legal sectors is a plus
- Professional working proficiency in a foreign language (reading, writing) is a plus, particularly in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese
Ideal Candidate
- Undergraduate or (preferably) graduate degree with an emphasis on research and writing skills; including international relations/affairs, journalism, political science, law, or other related areas of study
- Three to six years of experience, preferably in the due diligence, investigations, and corporate intelligence industry

Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 annual base
