Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is a nonprofit, applied scientific research and development organization specializing in innovative solutions to complex challenges across multiple industries. Within CTC’s Readiness Division, the Compliance Development and Support Lead provides strategic oversight of financial policies, processes, and systems for the Department of War (DOW).
This role advises senior leaders on enterprise financial risks, drives compliance and readiness initiatives, and ensures financial operations align with organizational objectives. Serving as a trusted advisor, the position integrates compliance insight into planning, innovation, and enterprise-wide initiatives to strengthen accountability, operational effectiveness, and mission success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead services to support Department of War (DOW) financial policy, processes, and procedures including development
- Lead teams to prepare for and conduct audits
- Support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness efforts
- Support requirements for development and agile iteration of finance information systems
- Advise government decision makers on enterprise financial risks and options
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Ten (10) or more years of experience
- Advanced degree and/or professional certification may be substituted for equivalent years of experience
- Experience in one or more of:
- Leading audit and/or audit readiness teams including Certified Public Accountants or Independent Public accountants
- Complex federal government audits including Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 18 (SSAE 18) Service Organizations Controls.
- Relevant advanced degree
- Relevant certification
- Experience in the compliance lead role is preferred working on projects for:
- Under secretary of War (Personnel & Readiness) Front Office Readiness
- Chief Talent Management Office (CTMO)
- Manpower & Reserve Affairs
- Defense Health Agency (DHA)
- Office of Force Resiliency
- Functional Financial Management Support (FFMS)
- The starting salary range for this position has been established as $128,000 – $146,000
