Overview
Culmen is seeking a seasoned Logistics Analyst to support a DOD Space Force program located on a customer site in Washington, DC.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes logistics and supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement in mission-critical operations, including material distribution, inventory control, and transportation planning.
Supports audit and compliance functions, assessing internal controls, systemic weaknesses, and risk affecting financial reporting, compliance with DoD policies, and logistical auditability.
Provides advisory and consultative support to program managers and senior leadership regarding audit findings, supply chain performance, and corrective actions.
Leads or coordinates audit sustainment and remediation efforts, managing workload and prioritizing deliverables among team members.
Prepares reports, briefings, and documentation that communicate analysis, recommendations, and operational insights to decision-makers.
Coordinates with multiple entities, subordinate commands, and external stakeholders, ensuring enterprise-wide synchronization of logistics planning and problem resolution.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree
- 5+ years of professional experience within the DOD USSF environment analyzing logistics systems, managing inventory, supporting audits, or interpreting DoD acquisition and sustainment policies.
- Experience in integrated product support, DoD acquisition processes, or depot-level operations is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills; proficiency with logistics and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments
- Active Secret clearance;
Top Secret preferred. - Advanced or specialized certifications, such as DAU Life Cycle Logistics (LCL), Project Management Professional (PMP), or supply chain certifications, are preferred
