Consultant – Defense Service Transformation

Overview

may involve complex, traditionally competing interests; are often characterized by senior leadership interest and visibility, and require extensive proving and analysis.

• Interacting with stakeholders to understand project needs, collect and synthesize data, and customize solutions
• Developing a deep understanding of what the client is trying to accomplish and creating strategies to solve multiple dimensions of a business problem
• Creating client-ready deliverables with oversight including insights reports, toolkits, resources, and other project‑related client-facing content
• Developing quantitative and qualitative data collection tools and conducting data collection and data analysis
• Scheduling, participating in, and taking notes in client-facing meetings with key stakeholders and project executives
• Collaborating with teammates to produce and present innovative solutions
• Independently managing time to complete assigned tasks as part of the larger client engagement

• Candidate should have the ability to:
• Execute customer research/stakeholder interviews, market research, data analysis, HCD workshopping, co-creation workshop facilitation, concept generation, ongoing multimedia storytelling, and transformation design sprints
• Analyze objective research data sets to focus on potential gaps and then design, plan, lead, and execute human-centered research and design sprint teams to test hypotheses, uncover latent needs, insights, and constraints
• Utilize a diverse range of best practice research methodologies for all phases of HCD research, including in-context observations, ethnographic interviews, surveys, analogous research, data analytics, usability evaluations, and workshops
• Create client-ready deliverables from conception to presentation
• Coordinate with project leadership on direction and progress of project activities
• Work in a team environment, being open to others’ ideas and collaboratively producing well-rounded solutions/deliverables
• Be flexible as project scope evolves
