This role involves working with our Private Equity (PE) practice to accelerate value creation in portfolio companies through digital transformation, with a focus on Agentforce and Data
360 within a PE mandate.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic Private Equity Partners, acting as the single point of contact into Salesforce for your patch of PE firms.
  • Advocate for the partnership within the Private Equity firm and at Salesforce, guiding executives through transformation and AI implementation.
  • Leverage experience in guiding executive teams toward transformation and help AI/tech Operating Partners and non-technical OPs understand technology impact.
  • Assemble and lead a high-energy team that embodies Salesforce values and collaborates across the organization.
  • Develop relationships across key Salesforce groups (Distribution, Customer Success, Fin Ops) and with the Tech SWAT team to generate and close incremental opportunities.
  • Support PE partners in due diligence to quickly develop growth strategies for carve-outs and acquisitions; align Salesforce capabilities post-announcement.
  • Proactively propose value-creation opportunities across portfolios and coach account teams and ecosystem partners on selling to private equity-owned companies.
  • Define and execute go-to-market plans for each PE with clear success metrics around incremental value, Agentforce/Data
    360, and new logos.
  • Collaborate with OU AVPs, RVPs, and regional sales leadership to align with Salesforce growth plans and extend engagement strategies.
  • Articulate the value of Salesforce, Agentforce, and Data Cloud 360 to B2B and B2C PE-owned portfolio companies.
  • Lead commercial partnership negotiations and develop deal structures suitable for each situation.
  • Coach sales account managers on business plans, pricing, and positioning related to PE portfolios to drive value and grow pipeline.
  • Manage regional PE stakeholder relationships where Salesforce has established Global PE Partnerships; drive new partnerships and expand existing ones.
  • Promote Salesforce innovation and Private Equity value through thought leadership and events, and coordinate portfolio performance reviews with leadership to assess AI readiness.
  • Leverage Salesforce resources to ensure portfolio company customer success.
Required Experience
  • Proven ability to develop C-level connections and understand business dynamics of large enterprises; able to shape customers’ growth and change agendas, especially around Automation and AI.
  • Excellent communication, strategic, analytical, influencing, and consulting skills; track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary teams and building cross-organizational relationships.
  • Experience influencing decisions in Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, carve-outs, and the Private Equity market.
  • Comfort discussing IRR, ROI, TCO, and business case development in the context of LBOs.
  • Strong understanding of the sales ecosystem (strategy, methods, cadence, reporting) with ability to forecast and build business plans while developing teams.
  • Track record of delivering measurable results, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity; self-starter with strong work ethic and alignment to Salesforce values.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills demonstrating Trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel >30% as needed.
  • Degree educated with excellent professional English communication skills.
Desired Experience
  • 7-10 years of internal Salesforce Distribution experience leading a team through change, ideally with Data
    360 and Agentforce.
  • MBA or equivalent master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Management from a top institution.
  • Top-tier consulting background with significant M&A, strategy, or digital transformation experience.
  • Experience leading enterprise digital transformation in B2B or B2C contexts.
  • Experience in business development within Private Equity, Venture Capital, or M&A.
