Job Summary

In this role, you will advise Marketing and Credit organizations on global marketing compliance requirements, risk mitigation, campaign and control enhancement opportunities, and ensure that customer‑centric solutions are compliant and effective.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Lead complex projects and problem‑resolution efforts related to risk management.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify and analyze risks that may impact operations and assets.
  • Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Assess current business trends to inform risk management practices and improvements.
  • Drive global process improvements through effective project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Foster close relationships across cross‑functional stakeholders to enable compliant and customer‑centric solutions within marketing and credit teams.
  • Define compliance requirements and ensure they are integrated into marketing roadmaps and campaigns.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise on identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and managing compliance risk, including issue and incident management oversight, risk assessment, regulatory change management, and complaints monitoring.
  • Support intake and review of marketing‑related initiatives, including new campaigns, incentives, regional expansion and deprecation.
  • Identify potential risks within specialized areas (e.g., Privacy, AML, Info Sec) and engage cross‑functional stakeholders for SME review.
  • Support ongoing and targeted compliance monitoring and testing by regulators, internal audit, and internal testers.
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to senior leadership on emerging risks, trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Escalate timely and actionable information to key stakeholders.
Expected Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in marketing compliance for financial services, banking, or payment systems, supporting business partners through campaign development stages.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess risks in complex campaigns and recommend controls to mitigate those risks.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with key stakeholders, including influencing, conflict management, and negotiation.
  • Expertise in partnering with and counseling senior business clients in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent presentation and project‑management skills, capable of managing multiple issues simultaneously.
  • High energy, creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
  • Sound judgment, flexibility, and nimbleness in changing courses and solving problems independently.

Compensation

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $123,500 to $212,850, based on work location, relevant skills, and experience.
