Senior Business Development Manager

This AmLaw Top 20 firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support its litigation practice. This role plays a key part in shaping and executing strategic business plans, from identifying priority clients to strengthening high‑value relationships and driving thought‑leadership opportunities. The Manager will also lead the development of strategic pitches, RFP responses, and other client‑facing materials to ensure the practice is positioned for competitive success.

• Drive the creation and implementation of business plans, including target client lists, development priorities, and visibility initiatives.
• Lead the development of pitches, RFPs, and other client‑facing materials, including strategy discussions, post‑matter debriefs, and results tracking.
• Support major client initiatives and collaborate across teams to identify, cultivate, and expand high‑value client relationships.
• Work closely with communications, rankings, digital marketing, and directory submission teams to elevate the practice’s market presence.
• Plan and execute seminars, events, and targeted marketing programs in partnership with the events team.
• Manage a direct report and contribute to the growth and development of junior marketing team members.
• Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence to inform pitch strategies and broader practice initiatives.
