Duties & Responsibilities
- Support comprehensive contract lifecycle management across multiple acquisition methodologies
- Assist in preparing detailed solicitation and award documentation for complex procurement actions
- Conduct thorough contract file reviews and comprehensive evaluations
- Support intricate negotiation and source selection processes
- Assist with development of precise cost and profit pre-negotiation positioning
- Draft justification documents for competitive range establishment
- Prepare responses to potential contract protests
- Analyze proposed cost elements and develop negotiation strategies
- Assist with management of procurement-sensitive and law enforcement-related contract documentation
- Utilize specialized government contract writing software
- Support pre-award conferences and industry engagement activities
- Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with federal regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, information management, contracting, or law is preferred
- At least three (3) years of documented experience in contracting positions
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Suite of software applications
- Documented ability to maintain operational security (OPSEC)
- Proven ability to interpret and apply procurement regulations
- Knowledge of government contract-writing software (e.g., PRISM)
- Familiarity with government software and databases (FPDS, SAM.gov)
- Experience with FAR 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16 contracting methods
- Experience with Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts
- Ability to independently prepare and route acquisition documents
- Demonstrated experience reviewing spreadsheets and documents
- Experience analyzing proposed cost elements
- Experience developing documentation for competitive range and source selection
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Experience with law enforcement or IT services contracts preferred
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree, seven (7) years of experience in federal contracting, plus 24 hours of business credits will be accepted
$50K-70K (subject to change)
