The Regional Operations Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic execution across multiple client sites and states. This executive leader sets the standard for performance, providing guidance and direction to Senior Operations Managers, Executive Chefs, and site leadership teams throughout the US. They architect high‑performing teams, lead complex mobilizations and transitions, and serve as the operational authority ensuring every location delivers on Yarzin‑Sella’s promise of exceptional hospitality.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned food and beverage senior leader who leads through expertise and presence, thrives in fast‑paced and ambiguous environments, and balances strategic thinking with a hands‑on leadership style. They bring the credibility to mentor culinary and operations leaders, the business acumen to drive results, and the vision to elevate our operations as we scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top culinary and hospitality talent across the region
  • Coach and mentor Senior Leadership to elevate performance
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and genuine hospitality
  • Conduct regular site visits to maintain strong relationships and operational visibility
  • Support performance management, including goal‑setting, feedback, and development plans
Operational Excellence
  • Establish and uphold operational standards that reflect Yarzin‑Sella’s restaurant heritage
  • Monitor key performance indicators across sites, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure consistent execution of food quality, service standards, and guest experience
  • Partner with culinary teams to drive menu innovation and seasonal programming
  • Oversee labor management, scheduling efficiency, and cost controls
  • Lead end‑to‑end mobilization of new client sites, from pre‑opening planning through launch
  • Develop and execute mobilization timelines, staffing plans, and operational playbooks
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (culinary, HR, procurement, facilities) to ensure seamless openings
  • Serve as primary senior leader during critical launch periods
  • Support procurement teams in vendor relationships and supply chain logistics for new locations
Transitions & Problem Solving
  • Design and direct client transitions, including vendor changeovers and service model shifts
  • Assess critical operational challenges quickly and implement effective solutions
  • Navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder situations with professionalism and urgency
  • Support day‑to‑day operational issues and provide hands‑on support as needed
  • Lead site turnarounds when performance or client satisfaction requires intervention
Client Partnership
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand services and enhance the client experience
  • Represent Yarzin‑Sella’s values and brand in all client interactions
Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in food and beverage operations
  • Proven track record of building, developing, and leading high‑performing teams
  • Demonstrated experience with new openings, mobilizations, and operational transitions
  • Multi‑unit management experience required; multi‑state experience strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of food service operations, including culinary, front‑of‑house, and back‑of‑house
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, labor costs, and budgets
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills with a bias toward action
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region (up to 50%)
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business, or related field
  • Experience in corporate dining, fine‑dining, high‑volume restaurant operations
  • Background with tech campus or large‑scale workplace dining programs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
