A leading international law firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to partner with its Environmental Practice Group. This position provides the chance to shape strategic marketing and business development initiatives for a dynamic, cross-functional team that supports the environmental, energy and transportation practice.
The ideal candidate will drive the creation and implementation of go‑to‑market plans, oversee pitches and proposals, manage client targeting efforts, and support events, sponsor ships, and legal directory submissions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining up‑to‑date marketing collateral, strengthening internal communication, and working across practice groups to uncover and advance cross‑selling opportunities.
Candidates should have knowledge of environmental, energy or regulatory.
- Lead pitches, proposals, and credentials development for the regulatory practices.
- Manage key marketing initiatives, including campaigns, events, webinars, and client alerts.
- Oversee award and directory submissions and coordinate with PR on rankings and visibility.
- Support practice leaders with business planning, budgeting, and market analysis.
- Drive client development efforts, including targeting, CRM use, and select account management.
- Maintain and analyze BD systems, materials, and metrics to improve marketing effectiveness
