Financial Implementation Specialist

NSS in search of a Finance Implementation Specialist to serve a client that is a leader in workforce development and change management for government organizations.

The role is structured as a self-directed, professional capacity with expectations for diligence, problem solving, resourcefulness, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong attention to detail and organization.

• Research the existing Delta Tek CostPoint contract and document the current purchased modules and components in written narrative for review.
• Create a master project plan detailing scope, deliverables, work breakdown structure, schedule, and dependencies.
• Develop scope statements and deliverables, including the work breakdown structure and timeline, for review and approval.
• Maintain weekly and monthly status reports outlining objectives, project status, metrics, risks, and action items.
• Assist in data recording, data entry, and data acquisition to support installing the customized system.
• Prepare customer requirements and ensure documentation is aligned with project goals and governance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (desired).
• Six to eight years of work experience, with a minimum of four years in an aligned discipline such as bookkeeping, finance, or accounting.
• Working experience with a government contracting company is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Visio) and internet usage.
• Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
• Aptitude to grow in problem solving, critical thinking, and data analysis.

• Salary: $79,000 - $85,000
