Overview

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for an Assistant Facility Manager to help run operations for a 110,000 square foot commercial office building in Southeast Washington DC. This will be a fully onsite role, working 8AM - 5PM Monday - Friday.

This individual will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Property Manager with vendor management, processing invoices, preparing service contracts, oversee tickets from the work order system and general tenant/customer service. They will be working in a team of 5 and interfacing with engineers and tenants on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Sr. Property Manager with vendor management, processing invoices, preparing service contracts, overseeing tickets from the work order system and providing general tenant/customer service. Interface with engineers and tenants on a daily basis as part of a team of 5.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in property/facility management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A strong focus in customer service; professionalism, attention to detail and initiative required with this particular tenant
  • Computer savvy; will be working within several property management accounting systems including Nexus and Yardi. MS Office skills are a must
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week - Previous experience in a commercial office facility
  • Knowledge of Nexus, Yardi or other property accounting software
  • Bachelor's Degree
