.
The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Kwaan Tech is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic team in Washington DC. This role requires a highly motivated professional with a Secret clearance, and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Provides administrative support while working under tight deadlines
- Receives schedules, refers, and contacts members of the staff, agency, and persons outside the agency ranging from other government agencies to the general public
- Acts as liaison to other managers and staff within the organization and provides accurate advice on procedures, reports, requirements, and other matters necessary to implement the supervisor's policies, directives, and instructions
- Informs other managers and staff within the organization of the supervisor's views on current issues and programs
- Performs work of a general office support nature that encompasses a variety of different duties and responsibilities such as filing, monitoring automation equipment, as well as maintaining and ordering office supplies.
- Maintains the Division management’s schedule(s)
- Maintains or certifies time and attendance records
- Coordinates leave schedule for office personnel
- Verifies the allow ability of the various hours charged on T&A reports, e.g., limited overtime, special pay, FLSA
- Reviews T&A reports for appropriate signatures, initials, and documentation such as medical certificates for sick leave
- Forwards all reports to the appropriate office for processing
- Prepares briefing materials
- Processes incoming and outgoing materials such as correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other forms of written communication
- Assists with travel coordination
- Creates travel authorizations and vouchers using E2 Solutions for Government staff
- Coordinates seminars/conferences domestically and overseas for the assigned office
- Coordinates administrative processes related to the operation of the assigned office
- Assists with answering telephone calls:
Screens calls, takes messages, and directs calls to the appropriate office

Job Requirements- Must be a US citizen and possessa SECRET clearance
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
- 3+ years’ experience working in an administrative role
- Must be professional and highly motivated
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Excel and Access)
- Prior experience with E2 Solutions and GSD Tracker preferred
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
