The Facilities team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the facility to ensure operational continuity, safety, and efficiency. This includes running routine safety inspections, partnering with contractors, planning maintenance work, and maintaining records, all of which are crucial to Anduril s ability to operate seamlessly and securely.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team in Washington D.C.. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entirety of the mailroom, supporting the office environment through the scheduling and coordination of vendors and contractors, and coordinating janitorial services. You will also maintain office par levels in anticipation of needs before they arise.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our shipping, receiving and procurement spaces, ensuring that facility needs are met through cross-functional coordination with core support teams, production, R&D, security, logistics, and IT in our DC office.
  • Support the office environment through the scheduling and coordination of vendors and contractors. Coordinate janitorial services and maintain office par levels in anticipation of the need before it arises.
  • Cultivate culture through the support of our localized onboarding experience, internal team events and external business events.
  • Perform basic repairs and manage vendor maintenance, as well as assist with planning for the installation of new equipment and any necessary implementation of process.
  • Take ownership of projects and functions including office supply procurement, shipping and receiving operations while prioritizing tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Contribute to the successful completion of projects and champion the smooth, ongoing operation of key functions like office supply procurement and shipping/receiving. This involves coordinating tasks, ensuring deadlines are met, assisting with resource allocation as directed by project leads, and actively identifying and implementing day-to-day improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Triage and manage incoming requests and issues via Jira ticketing system.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-2 years office coordination or mailroom operations experience a plus
  • You have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Your communication skills are strong both verbally and written.
  • You’re both high ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility.
  • You’re an independent worker who can work with ambiguity and drive to outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • You have a strong attention to detail and an attitude of 100% compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
  • You love solving complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems in a people-centric way.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience managing shipping and receiving operations, including tracking and documentation.
