Overview
We are seeking a refined and service-driven Office Hospitality Assistant to support a high-profile law firm and lobbying practice in Washington, DC. This role sits at the center of the firm’s hospitality, events, reception, and office services functions, supporting a fast-paced, high-visibility environment with frequent client and political events.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality or office services professional who thrives in high-end, detail-oriented settings and enjoys interacting with clients, attorneys, and external partners.
Schedule- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Flexibility Required
- Overtime may be required when Congress is in session
- Event/PTO schedules may require adjusted hours (communicated in advance whenever possible)
- This role requires adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic events calendar.
- Serve as a primary point of support for meetings, events, and client hospitality, including PAC events.
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
- Ensure conference rooms and event spaces are maintained to high-end presentation standards.
- Anticipate needs and provide high-end service to attorneys, clients, and guests.
- Provide reception coverage as needed, including greeting guests and managing visitor flow.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming presence in a high-volume front-of-house environment.
- Assist with light office services tasks as needed (this role is not heavily office services–focused).
- Support general operational needs to ensure seamless day-to-day functionality.
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, meeting coordination, or high-end office environments required.
- Strong customer service skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in high-volume, high-visibility environments.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Discretion, reliability, and professionalism are essential.
- Comfortable working with senior-level professionals and high-profile guests.
