Administrative Assistant (Parklands)
Winn Companies is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Parklands, a 458‑unit affordable housing community in Washington, D.C.
In this role you will provide support to the designated department with daily administrative procedures and special projects, handle front‑desk phones, and manage resident traffic and building access.
Pay range: $22.00‑$23.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
Responsibilities- Provide office support: maintain files, order supplies, handle mail, assist with shipping.
- Support team with expense reports and travel arrangements.
- Handle mail distribution and document preparation.
- Manage building access, employee badges, and onboarding support.
- Create department check requests, file paid invoices, prepare charts and presentations, book meetings and set up conference rooms.
- Greet visitors, answer phones and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Complete special projects as needed.
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Basic familiarity with computer systems and web‑based applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with travel coordination and expense reporting.
- Professional presence and can‑do attitude.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of property management software such as One Site.
- Experience with LIHTC and PBS8 (preferred).
