Legal Administrative Coordinator - FDA & Healthcare
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms, is seeking a Legal Administrative Coordinator (LAC) to support the FDA & Healthcare Practice Group. Reporting to the Administrative Support Manager, the position provides a broad range of administrative, secretarial, and document processing support with a focus on superior client service.
Maintaining an in‑office presence is important. The firm policy requires this role to work in the office three days per week as scheduled by their manager unless client demands or other accommodations apply.
Key Responsibilities- Regularly utilize Task Delegation and Workflow Management software (Big Hand) to receive, enter and update assignments; timely communicate with supervisor(s) through Big Hand and/or directly on task status, new developments, and proactively seek additional information or guidance when needed.
- Assist with word processing; edit and proofread correspondence, memorandums, reports, and other general communications.
- Answer phones and take messages, schedule appointments and coordinate meetings; arrange audio and video conferences; reserve conference rooms and arrange set‑ups.
- Maintain attorney calendar and advise attorney of appointments, update attorney address book and Inter Action entries.
- Assist with time entry.
- Process new business intake, related forms and correspondence.
- Process expense reports and invoices; arrange check requests; monitor through completion.
- Arrange travel and prepare itineraries; maintain attorney travel and desk profiles.
- Coordinate or assist with printing, scanning, copying of documents and/or sending same.
- Provide legal research, case support and project assistance.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
- At least two (2) years of administrative support experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Previous law firm experience required.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF software.
- Flexibility to work overtime required.
For positions in Washington, DC, the salary range for this job posting is: $69,817.50 – $90,677.00. The base salary or hourly wage range will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on multiple factors.
