Senior Associate

Overview

Our client is a mid-size public accounting firm located in Bethesda, MD. The firm has been in business for over 50 years! Managers and partners are promoted from within. Services include:

• Communicating the client's total picture with clarity and objectivity
• Translating complex information into critical knowledge
• Anticipating and creating opportunities
• Designing pathways that transform vision into reality

Currently, the firm is in need of a Senior Tax Accountant.

• Tax planning, wealth management and personal financial planning for a diverse client base.
• Preparing a wide range of financial statements and tax returns for clients, including individuals, corporations, trusts, estates, and small businesses.
• Developing expertise in compilation and review of financial statements.
• Working with Quick Books and other accounting software (Quick Books experience is a plus!).
• Receiving extensive training and mentorship from hands-on partners committed to your success.

• CPA or Enrolled Agent
• Two or more years of tax preparation experience, preferably in a public accounting firm
• Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations.

Tax preparation experience, proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical skills.

Experience with Quick Books, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment.

$70, per annum based upon experience. 25% of revenue from new clients brought to the firm for the first two years. Comprehensive benefits.
