Corporate Accounting Manager
A nationally recognized real estate firm in Washington DC is hiring for a Corporate Accounting Manager. Ideal candidate has real estate industry experience internally or through audit clients. This role is hybrid 3 days/week. $120-$150k salary range.
Responsibilities- Lead preparation of quarterly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders such as investors, lenders, C Suite and the Board of Directors
- Manage monthly preparation of financial statements according to IFRS and US GAAP
- Create technical accounting position papers on complex accounting issues involving lases, asset acquisitions, disposals, etc
- Review recurring and nonrecurring journal entries for accuracy
- Maintain general ledger and related reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Assist with annual financial and control audits
- BS in Accounting
- 5+ years accounting experience, ideally in real estate/public accounting
- Experience applying IFRS accounting principles
- CPA license or in process
- Locality to Washington DC proper, with in office expectations at 3 days weekly
