At Heart of Texas Smiles we are seeking a Hygiene Assistant to collaborate with our team to improve our patient’s dental health and smiles in vacatures State-Of-The-Art practice in Waco, TX. As our Dental Assistant, you are highly skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care, and still you can make smooth office procedures for our patients. Your genuine care is transmitted in all interactions to the patients you serve.

You will be thrilled to know that we work 4 days per week, and NO WEEKENDS!

• Monday 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Tuesday 7:30am - 5:00p
• Wednesday 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday - 7:30 am - 4:00pm one Friday a month (still a 4 day work week)

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledge of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

• New Grads Wlecome!
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example:
  Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Dental Softwares as Carestack, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
