SUMMARY
We are seeking an aspiring, creative individual who is interested in capturing the lifelong memories that are made a photographer, you will work with the Marketing Team to capture, edit, and distribute exciting, high-resolution images of our summer programs to be shared with camper parents and possibly used in various marketing projects. You will be immersed in the camp experience and have the opportunity to grow in both artistic and technical photography skills.
You will work cooperatively with program leadership and staff to capture the joy and excitement that takes place at Camp.
While this position has no supervisory responsibilities, camper safety is priority. This role is responsible for keeping campers safe while taking photos and should report to summer leadership if safety issues arise.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONSOne year’s certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months college-level classes in photography; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSCurrent CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain onsite
Current Driver’s License to be authorized to drive Camp vehicles (not required)
