Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate, plan, and supervise subcontractors and/or craft activities ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
- Monitor contractor production, schedule, and performance.
- Complete contractor daily reports and inspections.
- Initiate problem solving and perform repairs on any required work‑related equipment, in a timely manner.
- Assist subcontractors with Federal procedures and rules.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements for all stakeholders to support and achieve zero injuries, incidents, or accidents.
- Report and address all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly.
- Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur on the jobsite.
- Develop and maintain CPM schedule.
- Understand and evaluate risk and cost of overtime schedules; ensure subcontractor buy‑in of overtime or crew change requirements.
- Maintain and routinely communicate look‑ahead and project schedules.
- Hold subcontractors accountable to established schedules.
- Measure and report on projected vs. actual baseline schedule throughout project.
- Review and monitor job costs with the Project Manager.
- Manage the labor recap process, including management reporting of labor and supervision costs.
- Close review of project personnel timecards to ensure accuracy and appropriate job charging.
- Ensure correct Davis Bacon job classifications are used.
- Manage Purchase Orders and subsequent comparisons to budgets.
- Coach, mentor, supervise project personnel on construction practices and techniques.
- Work in coordination with the Project Manager; ensure project personnel are adequately trained and accountable in their functions.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5+) years’ experience as a Superintendent on federal government projects.
- Ten (10) years’ previous experience with USACE or federal government construction projects.
- Ability to monitor all trades.
- OSHA 30 Certified.
- EM 385‑1‑1 Training.
- USACE CQM training and certification.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and verbal/written communication skills are required.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- You must be a U.S. Citizen.
- You will be required to obtain Military Base Access Security Clearance.
- A valid driver’s license with a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policy is required.

- Salary range: $100,000-$130,000/annual based on experience plus eligible to participate in Short Term Incentive Plan.
