- Solid experience in delivering results through competitive positioning informed by market insights, financial data, and technological trends
- Demonstrated expertise in pricing strategy and competition positioning
- Proficient in building market models and leading cross-functional teams to meet set targets
- Capable of developing and executing product lifecycle strategies
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the development and execution of global new product marketing strategies
- Ensure new product performance and advise on improvements to enhance launch success
- Create, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators for new product introduction effectiveness
- Collaborate with sales teams to manage training and demonstration efforts for new products
- Formulate product marketing strategies focusing on increasing growth and profitability
- Develop and produce marketing materials and sales resources (e.g., literature, brochures, website content)
- Lead promotional initiatives and assess their effectiveness
- Initiate and execute sales campaigns to enhance product performance as necessary
- Support the sales team by providing insights on technical inquiries, solution features, pricing, and value
- Create and implement an annual marketing plan for specific product lines detailing category growth strategies
- Coordinate with product planning to determine end-of-sales and end-of-service timelines
- Manage the execution of end-of-life plans for products
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality and operational concerns
- Analyze product performance, forecast upcoming trends, and track competitive activities and industry changes
- Conduct thorough market research and complex problem analysis to drive business growth
- Establish key performance indicators and provide monthly performance reports to ensure product line targets are met
- Monitor and assess competitor movements and lead internal strategies
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to enhance product offerings
- Suggest product improvements to extend the lifecycle of existing products
- Gain a deep understanding of global customer environments through customer analyses
- Lead market research and competitive studies to become an expert on customer buying behaviors and industry trends
- Responsible for generating pricing insights, competitive pricing strategies, and annual realignment recommendations
- Provide leadership in project management and best practices across product portfolio initiatives
