Sales Executive – Flexible Packaging

A growth-focused firm is looking for seasoned sales professionals with deep expertise in flexible packaging to join their national business development initiative. With over three decades of success and a client‑centric approach, this company offers a unique opportunity to sell high‑demand packaging solutions to an established network while driving new business in untapped markets.

As part of a tight‑knit and high‑performance sales team, you’ll be empowered to operate with autonomy, backed by an organization that delivers top‑quality products, fast turnaround, and excellent customer service. This is an ideal role for an entrepreneurial sales hunter ready to leverage their existing industry relationships and earn top‑dollar compensation in return.

This Role Offers
  • Competitive base salary with highly rewarding, uncapped commission structure.
  • Business expenses reimbursed (meals, mileage, lodging, etc.).
  • Optional straight commission model available after 12 months.

Focus
  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within the flexible packaging and distribution industry.
  • Maintain and expand an existing book of business while pursuing new client accounts.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality customer service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of RHP’s product offerings.
Skill Set
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, specifically in flexible packaging, distribution, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record of generating $1M–$5M in sales annually.
  • Existing book of business in the packaging or related sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, including:
    • Plastic containment bags and load securing films
    • Labels, tapes, and other packaging materials
    • Custom poly solutions: shrink bundle film, pallet covers, stretch wrap, poly sheeting, and tubing
    • Packaging equipment: stretch wrappers, shrink bundle equipment, and strapping systems
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑driven.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel 80%+ if not based in the Los Angeles region, including regular travel to HQ.
