Description

We are currently looking for a Retail Store Manager to join our team. In addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to a major portion of total yearly income.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day operations, promote a positive environment, lead, coach, and develop employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. The Store Manager will analyze financial statements to ensure goals are met and adjust as necessary.

The Manager commits to the company’s asset protection program through inventory control, follows policies and procedures, and secures customer loans. Marketing tools will be used to promote the business and acquire new customers.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing issues.
  • Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through prescribed company channels.
  • Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, ensuring procedures protect assets.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safe procedures.
  • Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting.
  • Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting.
  • Maintain operating standards meeting or exceeding First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans.
  • Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
  • Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
  • Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
  • May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve items from exterior storage.
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
  • Work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Work 45+ hours a week (hours based on business needs, not guaranteed).
  • Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
  • Multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
