Physical Therapist; Part-Time - Wasco,CA

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Correctional Facility in Wasco, California
Pay Rate: $69.25 to $71.25 per hour
Schedule: Part-time contract, 6 months (with potential for extension)

• Wednesday - Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

• At least 12 months of continuous direct patient care experience within the past 3 years in a public or private healthcare setting
• Active and valid California Physical Therapy license (hard copy required)
• Valid photo identification (Drivers License or Passport)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated and current clinical competencies

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Physical Therapy services in compliance with CDCR facility policies and evidence-based clinical standards
• Provide care upon physician referral and written order
• Treat patients with an existing and documented diagnosis who seek Physical Therapy services directly
• Maintain detailed records and adhere to documentation protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient safety
