We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercially driven person to join our small team in Warwick. This is a mid-level management position ideal for an experienced sales or commercially savvy business development executive. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Managing Director and Engineering Director on sales leads through to successful close. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to work in an innovative business that works with international customers.

A willingness to travel and work flexible hours is an essential requirement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and building successful client relationships.
  • Building a collaborative working relationship with manufacturing partners.
  • Identifying opportunities for sales growth with desired profit margins.
  • Working with Trans Rak Management to agree sales strategies.
  • Mapping customer requirements and their trends globally.
  • Maintaining customer relationship software.
  • Traveling to customer locations to offer Trans Rak solutions or present tender/commercial offers and negotiate within agreed parameters.
  • Developing commercial offerings in concert with senior management.
  • Achieving sales and profit targets.
  • Identifying new areas for products or services.
Requirements
  • Experience in shipping/freight forwarding or logistics sector.
  • A higher-level qualification. Degree or similar.
  • Proficiency in English as a first or second language.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Personable
  • Self motivated
  • A proven ability to work in a team
  • Experience in several forms of sales contract including lease or rental.
  • Understanding of Incoterms
  • Able to work flexible hours which are unsociable at times when working with international clients.
  • Willing to travel and spend several nights away from home
  • Proficiency in an additional language(s)
  • Experience in the automotive manufacturing sector.
  • Passion for cars.
