Volunteer Coordinator – South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust

Join the Volunteer & Community Wellbeing Services team and help make a real difference. As Volunteer Coordinator
, you’ll recruit, train, and place volunteers across Trust sites, ensuring they positively impact patient experience and staff wellbeing.

• Recruit, train and support volunteers from advertisement through to placement using our volunteer database, Better Impact.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, supervise volunteers and coordinate volunteer activity.
• Identify and liaise with staff to develop volunteer roles that add value and support service delivery.
• Monitor impact through data collection and champion volunteering initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Deal promptly with volunteer requests, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Work with the Volunteer Services Manager and the wider team to oversee recruitment across Trust sites.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
• Experience in volunteer management or administration is desirable.
