A UK based business located in Redditch are currently recruiting for a Brake Press Operator to join their team. This role is available due to an uplift in work and growth, with this position potentially leading to a permanent contract after a successful trial period.

Responsibilities/Requirements of the role:
Operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal and plate materials
Select and install appropriate punches, dies, and tooling for each job
Set up machine parameters such as tonnage, bend angles, back gauge, and stroke length
Load, position, align, and secure metal parts for bending operations
Maintenance of machinery
Adhering to health and safety procedures

This role is working on a fixed day shift, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime available during busy periods, paid at a premium rate.
