Packing Operative

DC Personnel are recruiting for Packing Operatives for our well established manufacturing client based in Rugby.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and growing team in a clean and organised manufacturing environment.

Production & Packing Operatives

Location:

Rugby
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type:
Ongoing Temporary to Permanent

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00, Friday: 08:30 – 16:00

Total: 36.5 hours per week paid
Breaks: 30-minute lunch + 2x 15-minute breaks (AM & PM)

You will be required to

Sealing and labelling finished products
Packing items into boxes ready for dispatch
Ensuring packaging is clean, accurate, and meets quality standards
Working in a cleaner, temperature-controlled area
Following strict hygiene and safety protocols

General Responsibilities :

Dispensing and dispatching products following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Picking stock accurately based on order requirements
Replenishing stock and checking inventory levels
Processing returns and assisting with stock control
Conducting regular date checks to ensure proper stock rotation

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in packing or quality control is preferred

Comfortable working independently or in small teams
Able to follow health & safety and company procedures
Willing to operate semi-automatic machinery (training provided)
Reliable with good attention to detail
