We are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Turning machinists, to work with our client on their high spec, high quality products.

This is an exciting opportunity, suited to an experienced candidate that has previous CNC experience and can meet the physical demands of this busy role.

Interviews and inductions will happen asap.

Working hours:

2.45pm to 11.45pm Monday to Thursday, 12 midday to 4pm Friday

The successful candidate will have the below experience:
Ability set and operate CNC Turning machines

Experience of vertical & horizontal CNC machines
Ability to work on manual turning machines
Ability to read and use comparators, micrometers, vernier, calipers and any other measuring equipment required e.g CMM.
Ability to read technical drawings
Outstanding eye for detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Follow strict health and safety procedures.

Main duties/responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC Lathes (Doosan Lynx
2100 - Lynx
220).
Responsible for quality and quantity of Work.
Maintain SPC Charts
Maintain Machine TPM
To actively participate in root cause investigations, ensuring the timely and robust implementation of counter-measures and improvements.
