• Have a strong understanding of organisational priorities and the role that high-quality communications play in delivering them.
• Be a trusted partner to senior leaders, providing clear, pragmatic communications and change management advice.
• Combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach, comfortable creating content as well as shaping direction.
• Be highly organised, detail‑focused and able to manage multiple priorities across a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.
• Build strong relationships across functions and regions, influencing positively at all levels.
• Take a proactive, solutions‑focused approach, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, processes and outcomes.

• Develop and deliver a UK annual communications plan aligned to the Global Communications strategy.
• Lead and oversee regional internal communications, ensuring messages are clear, timely, accurate and engaging.
• Create and manage content for global and regional channels including website, social media, newsletters, intranet and internal platforms.
• Provide communications and change management support to regional leaders and project teams.
• Identify and support positive regional PR opportunities, working with Global Communications and PR partners.
• Support external marketing activity, including recruitment campaigns and regional initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, Education and Operations teams to support engagement and organisational priorities.
• Ensure all communications meet brand standards and comply with GDPR, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
• Manage regional communications and marketing budgets and measure effectiveness of activity.
