Procurement Officer

Location: Warwickshire

This Procurement Officer role involves working on a short term project for circa 4 weeks to support on a procurement project! This role will be to start immediately and you would be required to work in the office in Warwickshire. Prior experience working in procurement & logistics is essential for this position!

Description

As Procurement Officer you will be working on a short term temporary role to help with a large consolidation project.

Streamline the logistical supply chain process and optimise cost effectiveness.
Consolidate logistics carriers.
Build up strategic partnerships with preferred logistical partners
Enable a predictable logistics /supply chain function that will assist with customers' expectations
Oversee logistics operations, ensuring smooth transportation and delivery of goods.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain supply chain efficiency.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
Monitor and report on procurement and logistics performance metrics.

Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Officer should have:

Proven expertise in procurement and supply chain management within the manufacturing sector.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
Ability to work independently and adapt to temporary assignments.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for procurement and logistics management.

Job Offer

Competitive daily rate between £250 and £300 per day
