Staff Nurse - Ward

23 Hour Ward is the ring-fenced Elective Surgical Ward. You will have the opportunity to nurse patients both pre and post operatively after elective surgery and develop acute surgical nursing skills. The role offers the opportunity to develop skills with stoma care, epidurals, PCA’s, care of central lines, nutritional support and various wound dressings.

Various hours and shift patterns will be considered.

To deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or medical treatment.

The post holders will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, and implementation and evaluation of the programme of the care.

The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of nursing care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
