An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and experienced Occupational Therapy team within acute service at Warwick Hospital. You will work under the guidance and supervision of Occupational Therapists and on the medical, trauma, orthopaedic and surgical wards, as part of a wider Multi‑Disciplinary team. Your role will include evaluating the effectiveness of Occupational Therapy input using validated outcome measures, assisting with data management and input, and liaising regularly with patients, carers, other healthcare professionals and external agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Work in the medical, trauma, orthopaedic and surgical wards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
  • Assist with the evaluation of Occupational Therapy input using validated outcome measures, and support data management and input.
  • Liaise and work with patients, carers, healthcare professionals and external agencies in a collaborative manner.
  • Multi‑task in a busy environment, working with initiative and managing workload flexibly to meet service demands.
  • Assist in delivering an effective service delivery within the speciality.
  • Assist in managing an agreed caseload of patients within the service speciality area under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Follow recognised professional standards, agreed therapy pathway and best practice, liaising with the Occupational Therapist regularly or as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Preferred experience of working in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Therapy.
  • Excellent communication and team‑working skills.
  • Strong ability to multi‑task and work independently, managing workload flexibly.
