Accounts Assistant – Based at Allen Motor Group Warwick Ford
£27,000 per annum DOE | 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Allen Motor Group is looking for a proactive, motivated, and detail‑driven Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and collaborative Finance team in Warwick. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this role is ideal for someone who wants hands‑on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

What Skills Are We Looking For?We’re seeking someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and ready to get stuck in from day one. You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Strong Excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formatting, organisational formulas)
- The ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- A high level of attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Keyloop Dealer Management System (desirable but not essential — full training provided)
- Processing Commission Statements: Review, reconcile, and accurately post all commission statements in line with internal deadlines.
- Processing Funding Journals: Prepare and post funding journals to ensure timely and accurate allocation of transactions.
- Preparing the Daily Funding Report: Compile and distribute the daily funding report, providing clear visibility of vehicle funding positions.
- Investigating Vehicle Account Variances: Identify, analyse, and resolve discrepancies within vehicle accounts, ensuring balances are accurate and fully reconciled.
- Processing Funding Invoices: Validate, match, and process funding interest invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
- Completing Month-End Reconciliations: Perform month‑end reconciliations for all relevant accounts, ensuring robust audit trails and compliance with finance controls.
