12-month initial contract

Based in Gaydon (hybrid working)

£39 per hour (Inside IR35)

Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time, and travel within, the UK.

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are looking for an R&D Engineering Manager to join their team.

As R&D Engineering Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Improving or developing new products, components, equipment, systems, technologies or processes.
• Ensuring that research and design methodologies meet established engineering standards.
• Assisting with formulating business plans and budgets for product development.
• Analyzing quality/safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Keeping abreast of new developments in the industry.

• Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results.
• Organizing technical presentations to customers and/or industry groups.
• Influencing others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
• Monitoring product development outcomes to ensure targets are met.
• Managing product regulatory approval process.
