Automotive Practice Lead

Overview

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. We are recruiting for an Automotive Practice Lead to be based from our European HQ in Warwick.

This position will suit a strong technical automotive engineering professional with expertise in at least one of the following domains:
Powertrain, Chassis, Electrical or Body Engineering. You will need to have been involved in full vehicle programs and worked with cross functional teams to discuss solutions for different domain areas with customers.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design and tailor solutions that meet Automotive client-specific requirements. Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business propositions.

Act as a technical advisor during client interactions, presentations and negotiations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations.

Identify emerging trends, technologies, and customer pain points to inform solution strategy. Conduct competitive analysis and contribute to go-to-market strategies.

Knowledge / Experience

• Vehicle program management
• Vehicle Architecture & Systems Integration
• Technical Leadership to manage functional engineering teams across domains (Body engineering, powertrain, chassis, electronics, etc.)
• Innovation & Technology Road mapping - Driving future technologies (EVs, ADAS, connectivity, sustainability)
• Know-how of Design & Validation Expertise - design standards, simulation, testing, and homologation
• Supplier & Partner Collaboration - Technical alignment with Tier-1s and strategic partners
